Founded in 2008 by Viktoria Aversano, Esprit d'entente has been dedicated to mediation and conflict management since its inception.
The practice's offering centers on mediation, the prevention of psychosocial risks, Ombudsperson and trusted third-party functions, harassment and discrimination investigations, workplace climate analysis, supervision, and training.

A career spanning more than 30 years, combining negotiation, mediation, and the management of complex situations. A member of the Geneva Bar, active notably in arbitration of international commercial matters, Christophe has progressively placed conflict prevention and resolution at the heart of his practice.
A partner since 2012, Christophe Imhoos now continues the work of Esprit d'Entente independently, building on the practice developed since its founding: workplace, family, commercial, criminal, and neighborhood mediation, external harassment investigations, workplace climate analyses and psychosocial risk prevention, supervision, and training.
Experience in complex and sensitive environments
Christophe works with businesses, international organizations, institutions, and public authorities, in situations requiring independence, confidentiality, impartiality, and the ability to work with stakeholders holding differing responsibilities and interests.
Since March 2026, Christophe has served as External Ombudsperson for Services Industriels de Genève (SIG): an independent, confidential space where staff members can raise difficulties or sensitive situations, be informed of the options available to them, and, where necessary, be directed to the appropriate resources. This role contributes to the protection of personal integrity and the prevention of psychosocial risks.
From 2019 to 2025, Christophe served as External Mediator for the Council of Europe, notably in professional conflicts involving staff of the Council and the European Court of Human Rights. In 2025, Christophe also served as Ombudsman for Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance.
These mandates complement his work as an external mediator and investigator, particularly in matters of psychological or sexual harassment, workplace climate, and the prevention of psychosocial risks.
Knowledge-Sharing & Supervision
Knowledge-sharing has been a constant thread throughout Christophe's career: he teaches, or has taught, negotiation and mediation at the École d'Avocature (ECAV) and in the University of Geneva's CAS/DAS mediation programs, as well as at several universities and training organisations in Switzerland and France.
Trained in professional supervision at the CSA in Paris, Christophe supports professionals and teams seeking to step back from their practice and develop their professional posture.
